News

    • September 13, 2024: Our PhD student Pavel Kosov was awarded the Best Student Paper for his article Advancing XAI: new properties to broaden semantic-based explanations of black-box learning models, at the KES 2024 conference, which was held in Seville, Spain. Congratulations to him!

    • July 1st 2024: Our PhD student and UFAZ teacher Nigar Alishzada has been awarded an ACM-W scholarship that supports women undergraduate and graduate students in computer science and related fields, enabling them to participate in significant research conferences.
    • June 2024: Three ASOIU PhD students have their papers accepted to a ranked international conference (KES 2024), to be held next September in Seville (Spain). These papers have been co-authored with researchers in our department. Congratulations to them!

    • From Nov 27th to Dec 1st 2023: Associate Professor Nigar Ismayilova, from ASOIU (Azerbaidjan State Oil and Industry University), visited the LITIS lab (Rouen, France) and presented her research works about Alternative Methods for Aggregating in Federated Learning and Deep Learning in Game Design

 

 

  • 03 November 2023: Professor Zanni-Merk delivered a research seminar to researchers and PhD students of ASOIU on Explainable Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • September 2023: Team Powerdent wins first place in the D-IA-GNO-DENT Challenge, Pioneering AI Solutions for Rare Oral Diseases. Team Powerdent, comprising Samer El Zant, Karim Tout, Emil Aliyev, and Hanine Zaidan.
